Guidelines for a Sliding Door Guide with a 19mm thickness, featuring one small and one large component. The guide includes flat head screw holes. Source files were created in SolidWorks 2018. STL files are also available. To avoid any potential issues with humidity or water, apply a layer of silicone on the exterior around and at the base before securing with screws. Leave the interior untreated. Drill into the floor to install long screws that will prevent movement of the pieces while guiding the door. After one month of use, the PLA has shown no signs of wear or moisture accumulation. The guide was printed using a Maker Parts 2 with 20% straight fill and generic PLA material. The source files can be modified to adjust the distance between the floor and base or sides. Share the SolidWorks 2018 files as well as STLs for further customization.
