Door Flex Conduit Caps

I required a means to run a cable from inside a door where it's connected to sensors and the door latch through to the door frame for the controller while maintaining a neat appearance with no exposed wiring. Since I couldn't locate the actual component (as seen in the included example photo), and finding an affordable length of flexible armored conduit proved challenging, I created custom cap ends to utilize a long spring instead. You might be able to resize the part to accommodate actual conduit if needed. The red color is only temporary for prototyping purposes; the final version will be manufactured using white plastic to match the door. Alternatively, you could simply paint the plastic component. The spring will remain silver as painting it would likely cause the finish to flake off and appear tacky.
