Door Clothing Hook

Door Clothing Hook

In lieu of purchasing another door hook after my Wal-Mart one broke, I decided to design my own clothing door hook using three STL parts. Additional components can be found at home hardware stores such as Home Depot. You'll need a 0.25 diameter metal rod, measuring at least 18 inches for the assembly. After printing each part and possibly using a drill for accurate hole sizing, the construction process involves fitting the first door hook on one end of the metal rod, adding as many clothing hooks as desired in between, then placing the center hook for support followed by additional clothing hooks. Lastly, attach the opposite door hook and place the entire assembly on your door for hanging clothes or other items. The hook is 1.41 inches wide, suitable for doors within a 1.38-inch range thickness. An optional light module design is planned for future updates.
