Self-Latching Door Catch for Doors that Refuse to Stay Open with Round Handles. This design may not fit every door with round handles, but I'm hoping it sparks your own creativity. To create the prototype, I used a piece of cardboard to match the handle's profile and then adapted it in CAD software. The model includes built-in support to minimize the amount of material needed. This internal framework can be easily removed after printing. To install, attach the catch to the handle, close the door against the wall, and mark the perimeter of the base using a non-permanent marker or tape. A single screw will secure it in place. The hole is designed with a slight adjustment mechanism, allowing for some flexibility during installation.
