Door Bell Button Housing

Door Bell Button Housing

thingiverse

I designed this doorbell housing specifically to accommodate a decorative button, which can be mounted directly onto a rough stone wall. To achieve the desired level of depth, I opted for an approach that would allow me to hand-cut and shape the housing to perfectly fit the irregular contours of the stone - as evident in the light-colored example pictured. If you prefer a shallower version, simply pause the print once the housing has reached the desired height. This is precisely what I did for the one shown mounted on the brick wall. Each housing was carefully sanded and painted before being installed on the wall. Two versions of the .stl file are included - one featuring the precise hole required for my buttons, and a second with no hole, allowing you to drill your own custom opening for your button. The design requires no supports, making it easy to print. Additionally, I've provided the source file (FreeCAD .FCStd) if you wish to customize the design further.
