A detailed 3D model of a contemporary gray wood door with opaque glass side lights on both sides is provided. The door features horizontal strips between panels, a large aluminum door pull, and other hardware. Adjustments to the reflection may be necessary depending on the scene. The door can rotate on hinges to open or close, allowing for various renderings. Modeled in 3DS Max 2015 with V-Ray rendering, the door is scaled and sized at 36' wide x 84' high, but can be adjusted for different dimensions and wall sizes by modifying editable polygons. Included hardware can be removed easily, and both door size and frame thickness are adjustable. The model is set to 0,0,0 axis and grouped for easy scene movement. Wood textures are provided in the zip file, but may need relinking after opening the file. Note that exported formats may not import cleanly into all software, and some cleaning may be necessary. To render the door open, open the group, click on the door, and rotate to the desired position. The pivot is set to the hinges, but can be reset if needed by accessing the 'Hierarchy' tab and moving the pivot to the center of the hinge or using other tricks mentioned. Enjoy your modeling!
