This 3D model showcases a contemporary dark wood door with opaque glass side light on its right side. The door features horizontal detail strips between panels, an enormous aluminum door handle, and other hardware included. The wood grain of the door is distinctly visible. Adjustments to the reflection on the door might be necessary based on the scene. The door is rigged to rotate on hinges, enabling you to render it both open and closed. It was modeled in 3ds Max 2015 using Vray for rendering. The door measures 36' wide by 84' high, but can be easily altered to different dimensions and wall sizes by modifying the editable polygons. Additionally, hinges, a door lever, strike plates, a lock, and a threshold are included, all of which can be removed effortlessly. You can adjust the door size and frame thickness as needed. Set to 0,0,0 axis and grouped for convenient scene movement, this model comes with wood textures in the zip file. However, you'll need to relink these after opening the file. Please note that the model was created in 3ds Max and may not import cleanly into all software; some cleaning might be required. It hasn't been tested in all programs either. To render the door open, simply open the group, click on the door, rotate it to your desired position - the pivot is set to the hinges. If the pivot gets reset, use the 'Affect Pivot Point' option under the 'Hierarchy' tab and move the pivot to the center of the hinge. Alternatively, you can hit 'Affect Pivot Point', press the rotate button, and click outside the pivot. Enjoy your modeling experience!
