A 3D model featuring a contemporary dark wood-paneled door with white reflective laminate panels is available for use. The reflection on this door may need adjustment based on your scene requirements. This door is rigged to pivot and rotate on hinges, allowing you to render it open or closed. It was modeled in 3ds Max 2015 and rendered using V-Ray. The dimensions of the door are 36' wide by 84' high; however, they can be easily customized for different sizes and wall configurations by modifying the editable polygons. Included with this model are hinges, a door lever, strike plates, a lock, and a threshold. Hardware components can be removed as needed. The door size and frame thickness are also adjustable. This object is grouped into one entity for easy scene movement, set at 0,0,0 axis. Wood textures are provided; however, they may need relinking after opening the file. Please note that this model was created in 3ds Max, and other export formats might not import cleanly into all software, requiring some cleaning. The model's functionality for use in specific software has not been tested. To render the door open, open the group, click on the door, and rotate it to the desired position. The pivot is set at the hinges; if it gets reset, access the 'Hierarchy' tab, click on 'Affect Pivot Point,' and move the pivot to the hinge center. Another option is to hit 'Affect Pivot Point,' rotate, then click out of the pivot. Enjoy your modeling experience!
