DOOM Armor Praetor Suit Pauldrons
thingiverse
The armor plating for a Praetor Suit from the 2016 game Doom is now complete. Cut into a compact form, the pauldrons measure 200x250x250 millimeters. I fabricated them using ABS plastic which was then welded together and smoothed with Acetone to create a sleek finish. Further details were meticulously carved in place. Drill holes were added where the pauldrons connect to the chest armor. Paracord was used for secure mounting, while foam rubber was applied at joints and assorted areas under the pauldrons to dampen noise levels. For now, I'll wear it as a classic Doomguy cosplay until the limbs are completed.
