The prototype features untested aluminum and steel components with rubber cushioning between clamps and beam, as well as foam padding for added comfort. The design incorporates wing nuts to facilitate easy opening and closing of the cover while adjusting the beam height. To enhance its functionality, specific dimensions are needed for the foam padding (side touching user), width of the beam (size at contact points with machine supports), bolt and nut sizes, as well as guidelines on standardization including thread requirements. Additionally, a Finite Element Analysis (FEA) should be conducted to determine the minimum Factor of Safety (FOS) for the bar and clamps materials.
