In 2012, my daughter's selfless act inspired me, donating her heart valves as a tissue donor after passing away stillborn at 39 weeks, 3 days. My wife and I are actively spreading awareness about organ donation through Lifebanc, Northeast Ohio's Organ Donation Procurement Agency. As a token of love on her birthday, I created this custom tile from scratch due to two failed attempts in search for one. Using AutoCAD Inventor Pro, I designed the tile which then was printed with precision using my MakerBot Replicator 5th Gen printer. The original design file has thicker sections in the back to ensure a solid foundation. Initially unhappy with its small size after the first print run, I decided to scale it up by 150% for better visibility, achieving a larger size of 1.5" square that perfectly suits my vision.
