Don't forget your Towel - Kitchen Towel Holder

Having the kitchen towel flapping wildly on the floor just five seconds after placing it over the oven door handle has been a problem that has plagued humanity for as long as we've had oven doors with handles, so I present to you the kitchen towel clip. First of all, the only one I printed so far was a real pain to get the rubber band into. When printing, please make sure to remove all supports from the area where it seats, which can be tricky due to its location. Thinner rubber bands work better than thicker ones, and tweezers help with installation. I redesigned it for the models uploaded here, and hopefully, it will be easier to install the band. The included tool will save some time and frustration, and it also works with the plastic-wrap holder I remixed, so if you've already printed that one, this is the same part. This design requires a M4x16 or 20mm socket head screw and a M4 locknut. These hold it together, and the socket head screw is necessary because it slides into an enclosed slot, so it needs to be low profile (cap or hex head screws won't work). I found that assembly goes best if I installed the doubled part of the rubber band in the base part first and then looped the ends over the L-shaped part - that's how the tool is supposed to help with installation (see the picture). The clip which attaches to the oven door is designed so a string, shock-cord or paracord can go through the hole, then tie a knot through the opening in the back, which should hopefully hide it. The string/cord would first pass through one of the holes in the towel clip. I uploaded a thinner version of the oven door clamp but haven't tested it yet. I think the original hook/clip is a bit too wide - but it's probably more stable, so take your pick. I didn't design this to look like some terrifying skull, but looking at completed prints, that's all I can see now. It would probably look less scary printed in contrasting colors. I have some thoughts for a couple more versions if there is interest, such as a magnetic version to mount on the fridge with neodymium magnets, and a more enclosed version where the lower part is more enclosed. Currently, there is an all-in-one clip I'm testing now, and if it works out, I'll upload it in the next few days.
