Domtoren / Dom Tower (Utrecht, The Netherlands)

thingiverse

For the DomCode software conference 2016 in Utrecht, we decided to create 3D models of the Dom Tower ourselves since none were available online. To ensure accuracy, we modeled the tower based on detailed sketches that captured its proportions perfectly. We successfully printed the model using two M3D printers, one with ABS on a heated bed and another with PLA. The absence of the Infi and Domcode text added to the overall design. Print Settings: Printer: M3D Micro Rafts: Don't matter Supports: No Resolution: Medium to high Infill: Low / medium Notes: Without a support structure, the clock may sag slightly, but cleanup is unnecessary. Perhaps it will print better with support, but we haven't tried that yet.
