Part of the DOMOBITS desk accessory line and originally designed to hold paperclips or rubberbands, this small container and lid set has many applications beyond its initial purpose. Use it for storing jewelry or other small items, or print several in different colors to organize a hardware or bead collection neatly. The unique finger-grip top with recessed style echoes the rounded design of the DOMOBITS line, standing out among similar desk accessories. The container and lid each feature a bottom surface with concentric ridges designed for easy removal, making it simple to handle raft removal successfully. This makes it convenient to use DOMOCLIP right off the printer or finished with a self-adhesive felt, foam, or rubber bottom pad. The wider outer ring provides extra grip surface for the adhesive-backed pads. Self-adhesive felts and foams are widely available at craft stores but self-adhesive rubber pads can be harder to find. A reliable source is McMaster-Carr's Item 1376N33, a 4 inch wide x 36 inch long x 1/16 inch thick strip of adhesive-backed neoprene rubber in 60A (Medium Hard) durometer. This product can be purchased for under $20 and yields a dozen pads suitable for any DOMOBIT design. DOMOBITS designs undergo several iterations before being finalized, with each iteration printed on an UpMini 3D printer using heated bed and Black ABS material in 0.2mm layers to produce high-quality results.
