Dominos (double-six, two colour)
thingiverse
If you're feeling utterly unenthusiastic, then go ahead and create this "6" set of dominoes & box. Before you start, keep in mind that a commercial set typically costs around £6 :-)\r\n\r\nPrint out two different colors of your choice. Produce 1 each of the 28 bases and 8 each of the tiles. I'd recommend printing 9 or 10 of each tile to account for any potential print failures.\r\n\r\n** First, print ONE "1" tile and the "half" base tile. Then attempt to fit them together. This will give you an idea if your printer has similar accuracy as mine. They are designed to fit snugly - but not ridiculously so.\r\n\r\nThe base "pegs" should fit perfectly into the holes in the tiles and then be flush with the tile surface, resulting in a smooth finish on top of each domino.\r\n\r\nThe STLs are displayed as standing upright - rotate them 90deg to lie flat horizontally (except for the lid). You don't need any supports or a brim EXCEPT for the box & lid. Use a brim on the box to prevent warping and one on the lid for support.\r\n\r\nPrint the box lid with a large brim standing along the LONG EDGE (as per STL view) so that it ends up 52mm high (this prevents warping). Use 100% infill. Print the box base-down with brim & supports, and 100% infill.
