People often find themselves fascinated by the strategic gameplay of dominoes. This classic tile-based game has been a favorite among many for generations. To start playing, players draw seven tiles from a standard double-12 set, which typically contains 28 unique dominoes with two halves and various combinations of numbers. The player who draws the highest double goes first, usually placing it on a flat surface in front of them. Each subsequent turn involves laying down a tile that matches one half of an already played tile. For example, if someone has a tile with a three on one end and a six on the other, you can place a tile with a three or a six on one end to continue the game. The game continues until all tiles have been laid out and there are no more valid moves left for players. The first player to get rid of all their tiles wins the round. Some people also keep score, awarding points based on the number of dominoes each player has left at the end of a round. Many consider dominoes to be an excellent activity for social gatherings and family nights because it's relatively easy to learn but challenging enough to keep players engaged.
