This design serves as a dominant insert that accommodates four large expansions/base games within one box. The design is highly modular, allowing it to be modified according to desired specifications. It is crucial to ensure that printed parts are extremely flat. Any warping will prevent the pieces from interlocking properly. To achieve optimal results, I recommend optimizing the print process for one piece at a time. This optimized set of parameters should work effectively for all remaining pieces. On my personal printer, adding a skirt significantly improved the outcome. To create a layout similar to the sample pictures, you must print the following items: 4 x Piece 1 4 x Piece 2 4 x Piece 3 2 x Piece 4 2 x Piece 5 2 x Piece 6 2 x Piece 7 2 x Piece 8 Pieces 1, 2, and 3 combine to form one long piece. You should end up with four identical long pieces, ensuring that you do not swap any of these for pieces 4, 5, or 6. Feel free to glue if necessary; my printer's joints are tight enough that friction holds them in place. The four long pieces from 1, 2, and 3 form the exterior square of the insert. Pieces 4, 5, and 6 combine to create another long piece. The two resulting long pieces can be placed inside the framework formed above. This arrangement creates three rectangular storage areas. I recommend placing these long pieces so that the two outer areas are exactly the height of a card. This configuration allows you to store four expansions in the box (two on each side) and utilize the middle section for various cards and pieces. Pieces 7 and 8 can be used to create further storage areas, dividing the long rectangular areas into smaller compartments. Depending on the placement of pieces 4, 5, and 6, you may need to modify the dimensions of pieces 7 and 8.
