Dominator is a formidable weapon wielded by enforcers in Psycho-Pass, a renowned Japanese anime series. The model I've created is a 3D replica of that iconic firearm with remarkably low polygon count, making it game-ready. This 3D model comprises 14 distinct components to facilitate seamless animations and improved visual fidelity. Efforts have been made to minimize poly count without compromising performance or image quality. Each section can be further broken down into various maps, including: • Diffuse maps • Normal maps • Glossiness maps • IOR (Illumination and Opacity Rendering) maps • Reflection maps • Height maps • Emission maps The accompanying materials have been tailored to function smoothly within both VRAY and mental ray renderers. A supplementary Substance Painter format has also been included for enhanced editing capabilities. For example, this texture set can be effortlessly adapted to accommodate various gaming platforms like Unreal Engine 4 or Unity 5. I've struck a balance between adhering to the lore's aesthetics and infusing the model with photorealistic elements. As for animation, while Dominator isn't rigged, its precise movement sequence has been painstakingly recreated from observations of the anime counterpart. This dynamic motion can be observed within the Dominator Anim.FBX file. Be sure to check the linked YouTube video or Sketchfab resource for a detailed preview of this elaborate animation. A note worth mentioning: Please bear in mind that although I've attempted to emulate the original mesh, slight modifications were necessary to make it fully animatable. These alterations do result in some defects; notably, the lights on rendered images appear blue-ish, whereas they should display as green in the anime version.
