Mounts designed to provide the correct 10mm minimum spacing when installing a Dometic VD-07 evaporator are now available for others to use. I created these mounts specifically for my own project, which involves converting a conventional Thetford 3 Way fridge into a compressor fridge. These custom mounts can be printed in PLA and then secured to the inside of the fridge using a type of gel superglue. The evaporator slides smoothly into the rear mounts, where it is attached securely with 3 or 4 mm screws to the front mounts. Additional holes are also available in case they are needed.
