I designed these drawer side extensions/guards for the Dometic CD20 fridge to prevent items falling down the back of the drawer when I open it. I like travelling with a well stocked fridge and items disappearing over the back of the drawer as I opened it was a regular occurrence. I've used the fridge with the side extensions fitted for over a year now and I've not had anything fall down behind the drawer when I open it. Printing: You will need to print 2 x fridge_guard.stl and 1 each of the other stl files. I suggest you print the fridge_guard_short.stl and fridge_guard_front_short.stl first and make sure they fit together and onto the fridge first. Depending on your printer and the tolerances I used you may need to trim/sand the connecting pins, they are a tight fit. Be careful with the pins as they do add support to the panels when they are all linked together. See the Print Settings for more info. Assembly: Remove the drawer from the fridge - open the drawer fully, there is a little black lever now exposed on either drawer runner. One needs pushing up and the other down while pulling the drawer and it will come out. Try fitting and removing the individual parts one at at a time on their own first so you know how they fit. Connect the three rear parts (two corners and a guard) together and fit them in place together. Slot the front and side pieces together. Starting with the short side - keep the front up and feed the rear end onto the pins of the corner piece (pushing the top of the corner back slightly helps line the pinholes up. As the pins locate slide the front down and in to position. Repeat this process for the other side. To put the drawer back in the fridge - line up the drawer runners on both sides (it's easier if the runners in the fridge are pushed back prior to lining up) and push the drawer back in. You should hear a click as the drawer runners lock back in place. Enjoy your upgraded fridge. As you can see my fridge is empty so please consider buying me a beer. https://paypal.me/KeithBtriedandtested
