Domed mason / ball jar lid with finger hole
thingiverse
A domed pierced threaded top for mason jars. This has a finger hole in the back and was designed to be used with a top plate on the jar with a power switch in it for lights or other jar filler. A version of the dome is on the jar on the left in the picture. Attributions * The threads came from https://www.printables.com/model/407417-mason-jar-lid-thread-source-files * The pierced dome came from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1758972 Supports *The flat rim between the top of the threaded area and the lattice dome is the only place that needs supports. I tend to create a mandatory support zone as a cylinder that covers almost all of the ring. The dome and threads don't need supports on my Prusa mini. File notes * The `.3mf` was created in Microsoft 3D Builder * The `.stl` was created in PrusaSlicerincludes a mandatory support zone. Supports are only needed for the rim inside that holds down any lid on the jar.
