Dome Lamp
thingiverse
This is a dome-shaped desk lamp that utilizes a candelabra light insert from Westinghouse as its primary lighting component. To avoid melting the plastic lamp, you should replace the traditional bulb with an energy-efficient LED bulb and use it in conjunction with the provided candelabra cord set. For those who want to modify or improve this design, I've included the 123D Design file for remixing purposes. You can find the necessary components at Home Depot by visiting their website: homedepot.com/p/Westinghouse-6-ft-Cord-Set-with-Candelabra-Base-Socket-and-Cord-Switch-7000300/204835972. Alternatively, you can also check out Westinghouse Lighting's official website for more information on lamp accessories and hardware: westinghouselighting.com/lighting-accessories/light-fixture-accessories/lamp-accessories-and-hardware/6-cord-set-with-snap-in-pigtail-socket-and-cord-switch-7000300.aspx. Post-Printing Instructions: First, carefully remove the metal bracket from the candelabra cord set. Next, feed the socket through the bottom hole of the lamp, ensuring a secure fit. Press-fit the socket into the insert and use super glue to create a permanent attachment. Finally, apply super glue to attach the insert firmly into the bottom of the lamp.
