Dome Bumper Mold - Threaded Rod Insert
thingiverse
To fabricate a duplicate mold that facilitates the insertion of threaded rods, we replicate the original model. This duplicate enables us to repair cracked or missing rubber ball feet from our Glidetrack Pro and OmniSlider products by substituting them with this innovative component. The replica is constructed at an identical size as the original, allowing for effortless duplication without modification. We then take this duplicate, flip it over, and attach adhesive tape around its edges to secure any gaps that may form during use. After flipping, we proceed to fill each spherical section halfway up with a high-quality silicone substance, followed by inserting threaded rods into their respective holes.
