This device blows a softened acrylic or similar material into a dome shape using air pressure from a shop vac or other device. The red piece shown in the images is the softened acrylic, which should be approximately 0.1 inches thick but can be adjusted due to the screw clamping method. To use this device, place the acrylic on the bottom piece and then attach the top by screwing it into place. Next, turn on the air pump. The bottom of the device has a 2-inch outer diameter, so the hose connector must have a 2-inch inner diameter to mount properly. I have included an STL file that can be modified to fit any desired hose connector size.
