Dolphin towel holder

Wall towel holder. I repurposed 13mm metal rods from an old stand that was no longer needed, but you can use rods up to 15mm in diameter. The racks can hold two rods to accommodate two towels, but if the rods are too thick, larger towels may not fit (in this case, it's better to use one rod). I was concerned that the overhang would be too large and the PLA wouldn't withstand it, so I didn't make a wider gap. For assembly, you'll need to print two supports and four dolphins. The dolphins are glued onto the supports using neoprene glue. Here is a color-coded guide with an image of the assembly to help clarify the process: The two outdoor dolphins (yellow and blue) are not perforated and have pins that center themselves in small holes on the supports. The two indoor dolphins (green and red) also have these features, but they have holes for passing the rods. The brackets attach to a wall using two screws. You can secure the rods with additional screws placed above the brackets. It's been several months since I installed this system, and so far, it has shown no signs of weakness.
