About: This is a pseudo-working dollhouse television set, where only two purchases are needed to make it work - unless you already have the parts lying around. There are only three parts to print with an optional third part available. The build: You will need A soldering iron A battery box (3XAA with back and switch) - find one on eBay for a reasonable price. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-10-AA-Battery-Holder-Box-with-Switch-PP3-Clip-Wire-Solder-Tags-JR-Lead-/121648384436?var=&hash=item1c52cf09b4 A 1.5” digital photo frame keyring (the affordable Chinese type found on Aliexpress or eBay) - buy one today. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Inch-digital-photo-keyring-mate-Pink/dp/B0013026KS Assembly: 1: Once all the parts are printed, disassemble the DPF keyring and remove its internal battery (discard it or reuse it). Then, solder in your battery box to the original internal battery solder lugs on the LCD PCB. 2: Carefully place the LCD and PCB into the printed T.V case. You can use glue to fix the LCD / PCB in place or you can use a hot soldering iron to melt over a notch of plastic. 3: Place the switch extender (the printed part that looks like a space invader) between the gap from the back. 4: Put some glue around the inside edge of the T.V so the battery box will be secure. You'll have enough time before the glue sets to locate the switch on the battery box and mate it with the printed switch extender (space invader). This TV doesn't play video; instead, it plays a sideshow of pictures (TV show screen shots) that you upload to the device via USB cable. No SD cards are needed. Batteries seem to last forever in this setup. Have fun making this!
