About: This is a functional dollhouse TV set, which requires only two purchases to operate (unless parts are already on hand). There are merely two components to print, with an optional third component. Placeholder models of the battery box and LCD module can be ignored. The build: You will need A soldering iron A battery box (3XAA with back and switch) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-10-AA-Battery-Holder-Box-with-Switch-PP3-Clip-Wire-Solder-Tags-JR-Lead-/121648384436?var=&hash=item1c52cf09b4 A 1.5” digital photo frame keyring (the cheap Chinese aliexpress or ebay type) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Inch-digital-photo-keyring-mate-Pink/dp/B0013026KS Assembly: 1: Once all the parts are printed, disassemble the DPF keyring and remove its internal battery (discard/recycle/reuse). Then solder in your battery box to the original internal battery solder lugs on the LCD PCB. 2: Carefully place the LCD and PCB into the printed T.V case. You can use glue to fix the LCD/PCB in place or melt over a notch of plastic with a hot soldering iron. 3: Place the switch extender (the printed part that looks like a space invader) between the gap from the back. 4: Apply some glue around the inside edge of the T.V, so the battery box will be secure. You have time to locate the switch on the battery box and mate it with the printed switch extender before the glue sets. This TV does not play video; instead, it displays a slideshow of pictures (TV show screen shots) that you upload via USB cable. SD cards are not required. Batteries seem to last indefinitely in this setup. Have fun making this!
