A set of retro Eames tables and chairs in miniature, for a very special friend.https://www.instagram.com/nedintheclouds/ The model furniture is roughly 1:12 scale. This was done to a strict time frame so the designs are still a little rough. The chair seat and table top are printed in Faberdashery's Arctic White, the table and chair legs in Desert Tan. The chair seat is the most difficult component so I have provided an .stl file with supports already included. The other files should print successfully without any additional supports (although a heated bed for the table top might help). Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 10% Notes: As mentioned, the chair seat has supports already in the file and the others should print successfully without supports. DO NOT be tempted to print at a lower resolution! The miniature detail means 0.2 is the lowest you can go in order to achieve a decent finish. Post-Printing Chair seat - you will need to remove the supports from the chair seat. These have been generated in Meshmixer and should be easy to removed using a pair of pliers. Chair and Table Legs - these need to be glued to the underside of the table top and chair seats. Leave to fully set before attempting step 3. Using some black cotton thread and a needle, gently thread and criss-cross thread through the holes in the chair and table legs to imitate the metal bars seen on the original furniture.
