Dollhouse shutter windows
thingiverse
I created this pair of shutter windows for my daughter's dollhouse using 3D printing technology. The design was printed flat, utilizing support structures that proved effective in maintaining the integrity of the model. When attempting to print the shutters on their side without additional support, they emerged successfully, albeit with a minor imperfection - one bridge strand at the top remained slightly loose. I utilized a custom 3D printer operating at a resolution of 0.3 millimeters and PLA filament with a diameter of 1.75 millimeters to produce these intricate details. Following printing, I employed superglue to secure the hinges onto both the frame and windows themselves. A small nail was cleverly used as the hinge, fitting snugly into place. Two versions of the shutter design are available for download: one featuring small window handles and another without them. Additionally, a standalone cylinder is included, allowing users the option to attach it separately via superglue if desired.
