Dollar Coin Holder

I'm a big fan of dollar coins, and I love keeping them in my car to pay for drive-thru purchases. To store them efficiently, I used pill bottles at first, but with the arrival of my 3D printer, an exciting project was born! The initial design featured a top held together by friction alone, but it kept popping off as the container rolled around in my car's cargo area. To resolve this issue, I created a new version with a secure twist lock on the cap. Now, I can store one $25 roll of coins with ease and enjoy the convenience! 6/5/17 - I added an additional design option featuring a "$25" embossed top. 7/5 - After experiencing a container breakage, I updated the design with thicker walls for added durability. The cap also fits more securely now, requiring initial twisting to loosen up before achieving a very secure fit.
