Doll Beer Fridge (1/3 BJD)
thingiverse
Having printed some of the excellent 1/3 scale coke cans, and remixed them into 1/3 scale beer cans, it was pretty obvious I needed a beer fridge to keep them in! The stl files are uploaded 1:1, so size them down to the scale you need. I found that at 1/3 scale they were pretty huge, and so I printed them at 1/4 scale (25%) which is still a good size for a 1/3 scale doll (1/3 scale cans and bottles still fit). In fact even then the main body was going to take a day to print, so I reduced its depth to 20%, and the results are fine. If you do reduce the depth, only do it to the main body, and the shelf, so that everything else still fits together properly. You'll need two of the hinges and three of the feet (the lower hinge works as a foot too!). If you have some TPU you've been meaning to try, then printing the door insert in a flexible material would be a great choice, but I just went with PLA. Once printed glue a sheet of acetate between the door and the door insert. Position the door in place (left or right handed is fine), and then glue the fingers in place to hold the door (making sure the door can open). Once the door is in place the shelf won't slide out but mine is flexible enough that I was able to bend it a little to get it into place.
