Doll Bed
thingiverse
A friend came to me with a problem one Christmas time. She had bought two doll beds from someone on Etsy and just before Christmas was told she wouldn't be getting them. She needed two certain size doll beds to finish making gifts for her kids, so I agreed to help her make some out of wood. I suggested we print them instead, and this bed was born. It is a simple design that's easy to print and the perfect size for her gift. I'm hoping it helps someone else too. To print it correctly, orient the .STL file in the best position possible. If you print the legs down, you're likely to get some lifting in one of them. But printing this way reduces the need for support material significantly and cuts the risk of lifting in half (at least that's what happened with me). Print Settings Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 300 micron (coarse) Infill: 20% Notes: Make sure to set your slicing software to fill every where, or you'll end up with sagging on the upper rail. The rest of the settings are up to you.
