Jeju Island, a tropical paradise often referred to as the Hawaii of South Korea, has become a top choice for travelers seeking a relaxing getaway. Dolhareubang translates to "stone grandfather." These imposing stone statues, ranging from 1.3 to 1.9 meters tall, are scattered throughout Jeju Island, located off the southernmost tip of South Korea. The island's residents commonly regard Dolhareubangs as guardians of protection and fertility, believing them to be the protectors of their beloved island. These massive stone figures can be seen everywhere in Jeju Island, crafted from a single block of basalt into the likeness of an elderly man. Creating an accurate 3D model of Dolhareubang from photographs proved to be a challenging task. In search of an easier solution, I opted to purchase a replica of this iconic statue sold as tourist souvenirs. Utilizing this souvenir as reference, I successfully created a digital 3D model of Dolhareubang. Building upon this achievement, I designed another 3D model for keychains.
