Dolce Gusto reusable milk pod lid
thingiverse
I opt for reusable coffee pods to save money and select my preferred flavors. To achieve the same convenience with milk pods, I ordered a stainless steel unit. Unfortunately, it didn't perform as expected, and the milk powder failed to dissolve properly. Undeterred, I decided to try Milfresh pods instead. These worked remarkably well, and when I removed the plastic cap, I discovered that all the powder had escaped, prompting me to think of a way to repurpose the pod's body. After several attempts, I successfully designed this innovative solution using PETG, a food-safe material. So far, it has withstood repeated use without any issues, and the Milfresh pod body has also demonstrated remarkable durability. To ensure continued availability, I've stockpiled numerous pods, anticipating that they won't last indefinitely. I utilize MIlfresh milk powder, which is identical to the original product used in single-use pods. Interestingly, three scoops of powder produce a full load of milk. While I'm unsure if this design will be compatible with other disposable milk pods, my initial observations suggest it should work seamlessly.
