I was fed up with having to buy a limited choice of expensive disposable capsules. Cofee machine manufacturers use the same premise for printer ink. Both tie you to the machine and the volume/price ratio is more expensive than gold! I wanted a minimalist capsule hoder and all the ones I could find were too complex and seemed over engineered for my needs Out came my digital calipers to measure the capsule dimensions I started from scratch in Tinkercadand designed the tamper first which presses the coffee down Next was the holder - using tried and tested engineering weight vs strength tech using a ring of holes and a minimal base support This little cofee refill system works brilliantly and you can use your own choice of favourite ground coffee A word of Caution - If - like me - you used PLA you must not put the printed parts in the dishwasher or hot water cos it wil deform and/or melt.
