DOKI Vest
myminifactory
I backed the DOKI Smartwatch for kids through Kickstarter and received mine several months ago. It's an extremely well-made device, boasting a sleek design and high-quality construction. Unfortunately, my son, the intended user, managed to break it within two days of unpacking it, shattering the watch face in the process. DOKI's customer service team was incredibly responsive and effective, successfully repairing the broken watch at a reasonable cost. To prevent future damage, I decided to design a protective vest for the smartwatch. The vest is designed to shield the watch face from scratches and other forms of damage. It will require printing with a flexible material, which I initially attempted using Ninja Flex. However, I believe Semi-flex would be an even better option, if anyone has experience with it, please share your insights. To achieve optimal results, I recommend printing at a slow speed, such as 10mm/s, and setting the nozzle temperature to 220 C. For added texture, you can print over masking tape for a leather-like finish or use glass or kapton tape for a glossy appearance.
With this file you will be able to print DOKI Vest with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on DOKI Vest.
