Here is my NSFW Doggy Whirligig neighborhood pisser offer. I saw one made from wire and aluminum cans once and wanted a more colorful one. The .32 resolution gives the filament a bit more strength especially with the pivot return spring but it is a good idea to print multiple springs just in case as I have had them fly off if they are not glued or just snap from a land locked hurricane. The two washers go on either side of the pivot. You will need: a 5/32" and 1/8" drill bit to make placing the bolts and rod in much easier. 4mmx100mm Linear motion shaft for the prop https://a.co/d/2e3zj9v 2 -4mm drill stops, usually sold in a set https://a.co/d/hmJPwel and assortment of 3mm bolts of different lengths https://a.co/d/5EVqiwk 3mm nuts (locking preferred) https://a.co/d/dSf8sPY M3 thread tap for some attachments like the groin rod. 604ZZ Double Metal Seal Bearings 4x12x4mm \ two of these to smooth out the prop rod https://a.co/d/cDDYMpA Where the Rod connects to the man, aka groin, the bolt needs to be loose as to allow the motion of the ocean and may need to be drilled out at multiple angles to allow movement. The prop is a minimal size and needs to be resized to the largest your printer will allow as the larger fins help exponentially. If you redesign the prop, the center rod size is 4mm to allow for a tight fit else glue is needed. If a prop is redesigned, make sure to have the fins spin the prop COUNTER clockwise, as the design of the pivot limits the spin to one way, otherwise you will have to mirror the pivot. This version is still a work in progress and will eventually have a pivot base with or without ball bearings. Also may implement a version including a small motor to run it inside without wind.
