Doggie Bag Dispenser (36 or 20 rolls)

<p>I've seen other dog bag dispensers that hold like 5 rolls, but I have two german shepherds and I usually buy a box of 36. So I designed a holder that would actually fit a whole box worth.</p> <p>For the 36 bag design you'll need to print this many:</p> <p>(1) gsd-head<br/> (2) floor<br/> (1) front-lip<br/> (1) front-top<br/> (2) profile_left²<br/> (2) profile_right²<br/> (1) slide_back²<br/> (5) slide_middle²<br/> (2) stilt<br/> (2) wedge-small<br/> (3) wedge-large<br/> (10) anglestop¹</p> <p>¹These prevent the slides from going all the way to the bottom, you can just omit and glue if you want. I was planning on using them, but ended up just gluing.</p> <p>²Several of the parts use modifier meshes to generate the hexagonal pattern, denoted by the suffix "_modifier" in the filenames.</p> <p>For the german shepherd head I used thing:1685217 by quisalrod and printed in woodfill.</p> <p>I don't know why I designed this with so many screws, but you need (24) M3x[4 or 5 or 6]mm and (2) M3x[8 or 10]mm. If I do a revision I'll delete most of these.</p> <p>For anyone else designing something like this I made some measurements and came up with the following 95th percentile measurements in mm:</p> <p>Diameter <strong>65.08</strong> stdev <strong>0.94</strong><br/> Width <strong>30.78</strong> stdev <strong>0.47</strong></p> <p><em>Greener Walker</em> brand with cardboard roll inside.</p> <p>A floor angle of 12° seemed to work well.</p> <p>Overall I'm pretty happy with the look, but it doesn't dispense as smoothly as I'd hoped.</p> <p><strong>v2</strong>: Improved floor design slightly and repaired STL.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>For the vertical frames you can print in anything, but any part that needs screws - which is everything else - should be PETG or else the M3 screws may destroy it.</p> <p>I printed the front in Colorfabb Woodfill and only ended up using two screws, which was plenty.</p> <p>I always do 3 perimeters. Printed with 0.6 nozzle for speed.</p>
