Dogbone cup for toy RC boat

My kiddos managed to snag their prized toy RC boats (check out the pics, made by newqida) when they got one stuck in some thick weeds and severely damaged the cup that attaches to the motor, which connects to a crucial dogbone drive shaft. Since this particular boat falls into the budget-friendly category with plastic components, not being one of those premium ones where replacement parts are easily accessible, I quickly took charge and designed a fix-it solution. I had to drill out the hole for the shaft slightly as my machining skills still need fine-tuning – sometimes it's tough to get the exact diameter just right! Nevertheless, my son was overjoyed to see his beloved boat back in action. I was equally thrilled that we didn't have to go out and buy another one. While this particular repair might not be relevant to many others, you never know when someone else will be in a similar situation, so here's the viacad design file I created for the custom part.
