Dog Tag Magnet

This is a Dog Tag Magnet. These are only the finish parts of it that I used to make it. So, how did I make it? I used a silicone form and filled it with a thin layer of epoxy. Then, I let it dry completely. Leave it inside the form. My next step was to print some letters with my glowing filament. Done. Now you have to put the letters inside the form. Pay attention! You have to add them mirror-sided because you will turn the piece at the end to see the letters from the front side. This works best with a tweezer. (I also made one to print out - check my profile!) So, everything is in place... Now add the second layer of epoxy. If you like, you can mix it with a little bit of color. Then, let it dry again. After 24 hours, it's normally hard enough to take out. Next step is to add this print around the piece. As the last step, you need a third layer of epoxy where you can put the magnet inside. This is just an example of how I made it. This is a Tablet/iPad universal holder for a Dodge Ram 2008. It fits inside the middle of the interior in an empty pit. The two round pins that you have to put inside the holes and add some glue tape on them. Then, you can put the whole piece in the interior (inside the car). If it's on the right place, you can insert your fingers and push the pins against the walls left and right. Now it should be stable. I used 3M tape to hold everything in place. Also for my tablet on the tablet mount. Pictures will follow. If you like it and want to show some love, then please share it or add it to your list. Enjoy! JoeyHills.de 3Dsection.de
