DOG FEEDER (5in PCV PIPE)
thingiverse
The current design is still in development, aiming for a DIY dry dog food dispenser. It involves purchasing a 5-inch PCV pipe from your local hardware store, printing specific parts, and assembling them. Additionally, this idea can be adapted to create a cat feeder or an automatic animal feeder with a stepper motor. To build it, you'll need a 5-inch 40 PCV pipe, two 608 ball bearings, and an 8mm thread rod (possibly an 8mm bolt). You'll also print a collar, two 5-inch feeders (half moons), and two dog bone knobs. Assemble the parts by attaching the collar to the pipe, installing the ball bearings, gluing the feeders together, and mounting the assembly with a thread rod and knob. Finally, secure it on a wall, add the dog food, and enjoy! However, a clamp design is still needed for proper mounting.
