Dog Door Screen Door Seal Brackets

We were having trouble with the dog door we installed beside our sliding door - there was no space for the screen door to seal against. We had two options: close the screen door all the way (in which case the dog couldn't get in or out), or leave it partially closed, creating a huge gap that let bugs in. These custom brackets mount to the top and bottom of our sliding door frame, holding a 1x4 piece of wood for the screen door to close against. To make printing easier, I split both brackets into two pieces so they can be printed without supports. I realized too late that the bottom bracket needed a screw hole like the top one, so I manually drilled a pilot hole after printing it out. The Fusion 360 file is included in case someone wants to use this design - although it's unlikely anyone will be able to use it directly unless they have the same sliding door frame and dog door as we do.
