Dog Crate Nut
thingiverse
This replacement nut is specifically designed for dog crates. Plastic nuts often go missing over time, so it's crucial to have one on hand. The central hole is carefully crafted to accommodate a #8 size screw, which matches the specifications of my own dog crate. It's recommended that you drill a precise hole in the nut before tapping it with a tap due to potential "squish" issues caused by certain printers. However, if drilling isn't feasible, you can still create threads in the nut using a screw, albeit with some extra effort required.
