I required a replacement clip for a dog collar due to the fact that the existing clip was irreparably damaged. However, the problem lay in the fact that the collar material had been sewn shut, making it impossible to simply remove the broken clip and slide on a new one. Instead, I was forced to take drastic measures by breaking off what remained of the old clip and attaching the new one without compromising the integrity of the collar's seams. This is where this innovative clip comes in, featuring a small gap where the collar portion can be threaded through, allowing me to attach the new clip without jeopardizing the collar's structural integrity. I have put its durability to the test by taking my dog for a strenuous walk and applying maximum force, and it has proven itself to be remarkably robust. While I would not entrust it with a heavy load or any other critical application, it has allowed me to salvage my dog's collar from an otherwise certain fate of being discarded.
