We had issues with the previous thinner design, as it would break or its lid would pop off when dropped. To overcome this problem, I created a more robust version that can withstand drops. To secure it properly, I used a grommet and wood screw to attach it to our non-flexible leash. If you're using a different type of leash or lead, you may need to add a metal plate for added stability.
