Did you know that dogs can choke on air bubbles from drinking too fast? This is a major hazard, and can result in death. I've always tried to coach my dog to slow down, but I'm not always there. Using bowls with objects in them or major texture can help dogs slow down and reduce the risk of choking on air bubbles. This water bowl has decorative "bones" built in that add this kind of complexity to slow drinking down while keeping your dog hydrated!
