I'm excited to keep an eye on Saetta, my little dog, as she tears around in the dark chasing wild rabbits.\r\n\r\nAfter a failed attempt with a cheap LED bicycle light (it kept turning off every time the dog rolled over or jumped a ditch), I built this rugged enclosure.\r\nThe power switch is safely positioned so it won't accidentally turn on.\r\n\r\nThis unit has good battery life, using 2 AAA alkaline batteries.\r\n\r\nYou can customize it with different LED colors. I chose 2 blue and 2 green LEDs.\r\n\r\nThe supplied clip fits perfectly on my Julius K9 harness, but you can design your own or skip it altogether by sticking a VELCRO strap to the back.\r\n\r\nI got the idea for the battery holder from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:128069
