I've designed the support to help hold up dog agility jump bars. The OpenSCAD file is included, allowing you to customize it - if you have wooden wings, simply comment out the cross module and print just the cup and backing plate, I've added screw holes in the plate. For normal plastic wings and others with adjustable holes, the cross fits snugly, reducing the chance of it falling out during transit. The .scad file has all parameters at the top, making it easy to customize if your bars or wing cutouts are a different size. A photo shows the cup above the original cup that came with the wing. Print Settings: Printer: Gee Tech Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20% Notes: This object isn't simple to print, but I do it with the cross on the bed so the plate is horizontal and the cup vertical. I use supports from the bed with large x/y clearance and lines rather than grid for easy removal of the supports. A minimum wall thickness of 1.2 is required when printing this, at least for PLA - ABS might be able to get away with a bit less since it's less brittle.
