This is a replacement, thicker, wheel base plate for Dof Reality Motion Simulators. I designed this to replace the original part to improve strength and reduce flex. Having owned and used this plate for some time now with a Fanatec 2.5v and Fanatec Direct Drive wheel bases, I have found this to be a huge improvement on the original part, so hope it might be of use to someone else. As per the original part, it will allow mounting most wheel bases to it, and is best produced in aluminium to keep weight down and ensure rigidity and strength. I have created 8 variations on the design for convenience and preference sake. These are; 1.a) Standard replacement Wheel Base with standard fixings and a centre counter bored hole 1.b) Standard replacement Wheel Base with standard fixings, without a centre hole 2.a) Standard replacement Wheel Base with only 4 main fixings holes, (holes are spaced for maximum stability and ease of mounting 2.5v Fanatec wheel base), with centre counter bored hole 2.b) Standard replacement Wheel Base with only 4 main fixings holes, (holes are spaced for maximum stability and ease of mounting 2.5v Fanatec wheel base), without a centre hole 3.a) Replacement Wheel Base, with side extensions and standard fixings. A slightly wider base with side extensions that could be used to bolt on peripherals, with centre counter bored hole 3.b) Replacement Wheel Base, with side extensions and standard fixings.
