<p><strong>MiniWorld3D</strong>'s entry for Prusa Printers Halloween Contest 2019 is this model of Dodongo's Cavern, inspired by the iconic dungeon of <strong>The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time</strong>, full of stunning details, from the deadly Beamos that shoot lasers from their eye to the door inside the Mouth that leads to boss King Dodongo! This cavern is full of dangers and monsters, but Link prevailed and saved the Gorons from starvation!</p><p>This spooky model is designed to be printed in MMU or in parts so you can print using different colors any way! The side walls are hinged so you can open it and see it better. The giant dead Dodongo's skull opens and closes its jaw! Print this and get exploring, just be careful of fire keeses and equip the Hylian Shield!</p><p>MiniWorld 3D is the collection of 3D printed landmarks and models of the real and FANTASY world! No trademark infringement is intended.</p><h3>Print instructions</h3><p>This is completely Support-free.</p><p>It will seem like some files are repeated. They are, but they belong to different versions, I wanted to provide complete sets to avoid confusion. If you want to do MMU, files prefixed with that include all of what you need.</p><p>Pictures shown are a multi-part version, hand painted with acrylics, and MMU versions shared by collaborators dude2k5, 3d_unclephil, and zach.3dp. All use a light below the "lava" for the glow effect.</p><p>Instructions</p><p>MMU Version<br>——————<br>Instructions:</p><ol><li>All colors of the main section are to be printed together, except for the left and right walls with their ribs, and the skull and jaw.</li><li>The side walls, named “left” and “right” must be printed rotated 90 degrees, with the flat “outer wall” side on the print bed. Include their corresponding ribs when printing and “switch” on the Right wall. Refer to the print orientation image provided.</li><li>The skull and jaw must be printed separate, without support. The Skull vertical, lying on the flat side behind it, and the jaw horizontal, as is.</li><li>Use a piece of filament for the hinges, trim a section of about 45mm long and insert it through the hinge holes.</li><li>File names have the prefix "MMU", colors to be used are suggested, you of course can use whatever you want.</li></ol><p>——————<br>Multi-Part Version</p><ol><li>You can print each individual STL on its own or with others of the same filament color.</li><li>The side walls, named “left” and “right” must be printed rotated 90 degrees, with the flat “outer wall” side on the print bed. Refer to the print orientation images provided.</li><li>The ribs will likely need support, unless you have awesome cooling fans.</li><li>The skull and jaw can be printed without support. The Skull vertical, lying on the flat side behind it, and the jaw horizontal, as is.</li><li>Use a piece of filament for the hinges, trim a section of about 45mm long and insert it through the hinge holes.</li><li>Glue is not necessary but recommended to keep things in place, such as the skull on the wall and mainly the 4 central platforms over the lava, and the bridge.</li><li>File names are prefixed "multipart".</li></ol><p>Regular, single color version also possible and provided.</p>
